She has a special interest in Invisalign, implants, cosmetic dentistry, CEREC, and oral surgery. She is also able to provide both Regional Anaesthesia and Intravenous Sedation options to patients who suffer with dental anxiety.

Dr. Caruso is passionate about providing her patients with the highest quality of dental care. She is skilled in a wide range of dental procedures, and she is always up to date on the latest dental techniques.

Originally from Southern Brazil, Mariana obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. Her passion for dentistry led her to further her studies at the University of Adelaide, where she spent an additional year and developed a fondness for Australia.

In Brazil, Mariana immersed herself in a research project focused on cosmetic dentistry and teeth whitening, earning a fellowship in the field. Upon relocating to Sydney in 2019, she completed the Australian Dental Council (ADC) process, gaining double qualification as a dentist. During this period, she had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed specialists in Endodontics and Periodontics, enriching her skills.

Mariana's journey took her to the Sunshine Coast in 2023, where she continues to thrive. While she enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, her true passion lies in Cosmetic Dentistry, including Smile Makeovers, Teeth Whitening, Clear Aligners (Invisalign), and Facial Aesthetics. Witnessing the transformation in her patients' confidence and self-esteem through her work brings her immense fulfillment.

Her fascination with Facial Aesthetics led her to pursue advanced training overseas, focusing on procedures such as Smile and Facial design, Dental Veneers, and Botulinum toxin injections and Dermal Fillers.
