A: For treatments under $10,000, no deposit is required. Once your plan is approved and documentation completed, you can begin treatment with no deposit.

Q: Which children are eligible for bulk-billed Medicare dental visits?

A: Children aged 2 to 17 years who are eligible for Medicare and whose families receive certain government benefits may qualify for the CDBS. We can check eligibility instantly with your Medicare number before treatment.

Q: What if my child is not eligible under bulk billing? How much does treatment cost?

A: If your child is not eligible for the CDBS, we offer affordable fixed pricing for check-ups and cleans: Children under 12 years — $149. Children aged 12 to 16 years — $199. These appointments include a gentle clean, examination, and fluoride treatment if suitable.

A: Preventive and basic care such as check-ups, cleans, x-rays, fillings and fissure sealants. More advanced or cosmetic treatments aren't included, but we'll explain all costs up front and can offer family payment plans.

A: No. For eligible CDBS patients, Capalaba Park Dental Studio bulk bills directly to Medicare, so you pay nothing out of pocket for covered services.

Q: How often should my child see the dentist?

Q: Can I use private health insurance and the CDBS together?

A: No. You cannot claim the same service through both Medicare and a private fund. We can advise which option is most beneficial for your family at the time of your visit.
