Welcome to the Caloundra Dental Studio website. By accessing or using this website, booking an appointment or receiving treatment at our practice, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of this website.
We may amend these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy from time to time.
1. Website Information
The information on this website is provided for general educational and informational purposes only and does not replace professional dental advice, diagnosis or treatment.
2. Appointments
Appointments requested through our website or online booking system are not confirmed until you receive confirmation from our practice.
Appointment times may occasionally need to change due to unforeseen clinical circumstances or emergencies.
3. Online Booking Deposit
A $50 booking deposit may be required to secure selected online appointments.
The deposit will be credited towards your treatment or refunded where applicable.
Failure to attend your appointment or cancelling without sufficient notice may result in forfeiture of the booking deposit.
4. Cancellation Policy
We respectfully request at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in:
- Loss of your booking deposit;
- A cancellation fee where permitted by law; or
- A requirement to pay a deposit before future appointments are accepted.
5. Fees and Payments
Payment is generally required on the day treatment is provided unless alternative arrangements have been made.

- Afterpay
- Zip Pay
- Zip Money
Finance applications remain subject to approval by the relevant provider.
6. Clear Aligner Orthodontic Treatment
Patients undergoing clear aligner treatment acknowledge that treatment planning requires clinical photographs, digital scans, X-rays and other clinical records.
Caloundra Dental Studio may share these records with third-party providers including One Smile, Angel Aligner, SureSmile and other treatment planning providers or laboratories. Some providers may process or store information outside Australia.
By proceeding with clear aligner treatment, you consent to this collection, use and disclosure of your clinical information for diagnosis, treatment planning, aligner manufacture and ongoing treatment management.
If you do not consent to this process, we may be unable to provide clear aligner treatment.
7. Clinical Outcomes
Dental treatment outcomes vary between individuals. While we aim to achieve the best possible clinical result, no guarantee can be made regarding treatment outcomes, healing times, cosmetic appearance or orthodontic treatment duration.
8. Intellectual Property
All logos, text, photographs, graphics and other content on this website are owned by or licensed to Caloundra Dental Studio and may not be copied or reproduced without written permission.
9. Third-Party Websites
Our website may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those websites.
10. CCTV and Practice Security
CCTV cameras operate in selected public areas of our practice for security and safety purposes.
Footage is not used for marketing and is only accessed where required for security, incident investigation or legal purposes.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Caloundra Dental Studio accepts no responsibility for any loss arising from the use of this website, reliance on its content, technical interruptions or linked third-party websites.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Your personal information is managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
Any dispute relating to these Terms or this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
